Edinburgh Area

The Edinburgh Area is composed of the Edinburgh SC and Penicuik SC. The Penicuik club meet every two weeks on a Tuesday in the week Edinburgh doesn't meet, so the provisional meeting dates for the current session (10/11) are:

The club meets at the Navaar House Hotel, Bog Road, Penicuik, EH26 9BZ

Edinburgh Area Committee

The Edinburgh Area is run by a committee who's main roles are to promote the clubs, recruit more members, represent the Area at National Conference and run the Area competitions. Currently the committee has three members:
Area President: Tom Scott
Edinburgh Speakers Club President and Area Treasurer: Bruce Golding
Penicuik Speakers Club President: Richard Price

The Area competitions bring together the winners from each club in speech, evaluation and topics. The winners of these contests proceed to the District competitions.
